Film Outline

To plan our b movie we got together and started to plan what we were going to do with our movie. We looked at all of the possible characters in our movie and who could play what in our group. we then planned what will happen in each of the scenes and how long each of them would take because our movie has to be 10 minuets long. we decided to do a space theme for our movie after looking at previous research and what target market audience likes as a movie and what elements we could contain within this. we then started to form the second scene for our b movie. we started to gather the props and set the scene and used a range of different camera angles to enable us to develop this. I think by having this basic layout will enable me to consider how I could convey the movie within the poster format to ensure this is a great deal suitable for the target market audience (younger generation). I have planed the film to be 10 minuets long and ensure this conveys visually thee old format within the film visually to help convey the effects from my research. For example the use of the old typographical imagery to enhance and engage the generation to watch the film and reflect the 1950’s era of time.

Storyline.

 Summary: Robot comes down to earth and destroys any living creature

Possible starts to the movie:

1. Mysterious planet where the Robot comes from.
2. Robot already terrorising town/city… Then goes back 24 hours
3. Robot coming down to earth in mysterious object.

Possible Endings:

1. Robot dies by army
2. Robot escapes
3. Robot makes peace with humanity and goes back home
4. ‘To be continued…’.

 Scene 1

Robot is attacking town/ terrorising civilians (This will last about 1min and then cuts out)

 Scene 2

‘24hours earlier…’ Scientist discovers meteor, goes back to his lab (Dark room) and experiments on it. Discovers that its radioactive. (2:30min)

 Scene 3

Talks to Sgt Russell about this radioactive meteor. (Spaceship falls down to earth) Later here a crash. They go to the crash site and discover the robot. (3mins)

 Scene 4

They take robot back to the lab (The robot has been deactivated). Robot turns on and chases them (Companion gets killed whist in the lab) (1min)

 Scene 5

Escapes the robot, sgt Russell calls for back up. (little clips of jet planes, tanks and soldiers).

Then cuts to Robot in town. (1:30min)

 Scene 6

Will be the same as seen 1 but more detailed. Robot gets blown up. (1min)
