Story line

A city is ordered to flee as an army of robots said to be from another planet Venus attack this city in a violent manner. Left behind from the flee of the city Nora and Frank who are completely strangers meet up in a deserted street within the city. They then meet a celebrating couple within a cafe Vikki and Jim. But who are they in reality? All 4 of them escape the robot control in a dramatic manner and find a large hotel within panic to stay. There they fall into a great deal of danger but not from the robots……..who?

Overall throughout this film target earth you visually automatically recognize the genre of the film through the use of the imagery and sound effects used to engage the target market audience. You automatically see the gender of the film through the use of the typography used at the start of the film. This is done in such a way to make this suitable and effective for the target market audience. The si fi typography used to display the title of the film suits very well making this appeal for the audience not just through the use of the film. Using this draws you in in a very effective manner to watching the rest of the film itself.

The sound used throughout the movie has a massive effect on the target market audience the narration used through the characters within the story in is a muffled old tone and conveys this throughout the pace of the film. This doesn’t really draw the target market in to watching the film not making this a very attractive film to watch in the future in an old style form on manner. There is also use of dramatic music at tense parts throughout the film in an old form of style to add a sense of horror to the main body story line of the film.

Throughout this film itself it contains a great amount of camera angles use for effect for the target market audience. The shot used mainly within this is a close up shot when dramatic points occur throughout key points in the film itself. This is very effective for the target market audience which helps conveys visually dramatic facial expressions to add to the mood of the film in a simple form of manner. Also plan views are used to show the scenery set in the film visually and the genre to the target market audience in a dramatic and simple form to express this.

The pace of this film is very slow at the start of the main body feature drawing the viewer in till the main feature of the film. Until the pace start to quicken at the middle of the feature. The editing teqniques used throughout this contains the use of credit after the 1st scene drawing the target market audience into the feature. The transitions are in a very simple form between the ranges of clips separated within the movie. They are fading throughout each separate one making is visually easy to see the clips separated from each other.

The lighting used in the dramatic scenes of the film is a very dim form with a light focused on the main character making the audience sense something dramatic might happen within this. The use of the lighting visually conveys the use of the feature.
